This notice concerns the Amber Almanac contact directory on its subdomains and the contributions submitted through it. Updated 25 October 2026.

Contributions you choose to send
A review form collects a display name, email, rating, title and written experience. A correction or message collects the contact details and information entered in its form. Email addresses are used privately for administration and are not included in the public review record.
Why submissions are processed
The information is used to moderate reviews, investigate corrections, maintain the service and respond to a relevant request. An approved review can display the public name, rating, text, company and contribution date. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, sensitive health information or other people’s private data.
Hosting and abuse prevention
Cloudflare hosts the directory and processes the network requests needed to provide it. Infrastructure processing can include IP addresses, request headers and service logs. The application uses protected derived values for rate limiting and does not deliberately expose raw network identifiers in public contributions.
Cookies and external services
An essential secure cookie supports administrator sign-in. Public visitors do not need an account to browse. This version intentionally includes no audience-analytics or advertising pixels. External company websites, email links and telephone handlers apply their own practices once used.
Retention and requests
Contributions and correspondence are retained for moderation, running the directory, investigating disputes and applicable obligations. Contact the publisher to request access, correction or deletion; proportionate verification may be needed to protect other people’s information. Copies already obtained by third parties cannot necessarily be recalled.
Later changes
New advertising, analytics or other processing features should be reflected in this notice and any necessary user choices before they begin. The main website and an external company destination may have separate notices.
